BBA were delighted to be appointed to support the regeneration of Swindon Heritage Assets, for Swindon Borough Council in April 2020.
During lockdown BBA’s Director Sally Hewins and BBA’s Historic Building Specialist James Cusick continued to work on Units 7 & 9 of the West shed remotely. Design Team meetings were conducted virtually and condition surveys conducted safely when the lockdown eased.
This exciting regeneration project, will provide flexible office space for small businesses within the emerging business and educational campus in the Carriage Works Grade II listed buildings.
James is hoping to use this experience and his recent work on the Sydney Gardens project, as part of his submission to the IHBC, progressing to full membership accreditation.
