Expanding upon existing planning permissions, BBA developed a new planning application to provide a viable mix of units for the development for Ashford Homes. Our client then sold the site to Curo, who retained BBA Architects to produce the working drawings, on behalf of Curo Enterprise.
The scheme, located 1.2km from the centre of Devizes expands the existing urban landscape, providing 50 new build dwellings with 36 private houses and 14 affordable flats. The scheme considered arboricultural constraints, protecting mature trees and enhanced the ecological potential using landscaping throughout the development.
BBA designed and delivered the project from inception to competition. This included creation of planning drawings, working drawings and attending regular site visits, once the project was under construction.
