Refurbishment and extension to the Grade II listed ‘Downend House’.
The former residence of Dr. W.G.Grace, a famous Gloucestershire Cricketer, ‘Downend House’ required a considered approach.
The ‘Change of Use’ scheme required the conversion of the existing office space and extension to the building, in order to provide the 50 bedroom nursing home. The facilities provided ensure that the residents are able to receive either General or Dementia Nursing Care, within spacious en-suite bedrooms, specialist spaces and purpose built landscaped sensory gardens.
