Derrick has considerable experience on large traditional contracts which cover all current procurement methods, together with a large involvement in design and build schemes which have included : education (both private and state ) residential, leisure, food, care homes and retail sectors.

He has been heavily involved in the education sector with schemes ranging from; children centres,  pre-school/nursery, primary, secondary including adult education.  Before joining BBA at its foundation in 1992, he was an Associate with a large local architects practice, after having left London in the mid 1980s. 

Derrick is also a CDM coordinator and responsible for the company’s QA (9001, 14001) and Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001).
